Oral history interviews conducted for the Avon Heathcote Esturary Ihutai Trust has been made into this programme. Each of the men and women interviewed have personally contributed a considerable efffort to the improvement of the cities wetlands and waterways. This by definition of the catchment does include the Avon the Heathcote. Most interviewees live near or overlook the esturary and the esturary is the waterway which gets the principal focus across the 13 programmes. A valuable rich part of history of our city.
