Smokey and Lorraine have hosted Garden City Country Hour since May 1990. They play a range of country music from older hits to new releases. Listeners can request music each fortnight. Occasionally, Smokey and Lorraine interview artists visiting Christchurch.
The Garden City Country Hour is particularly popular with an older but actively engaged age group who have supported the show for many years.
