Detox Mans!on
The No Format Format, With A Kiwi Flavour
Named after a Warren Zevon song, Detox Mans!on first aired in June 2007. The weekly programme's aim is simple: a no-format format, where anything and everything will be played, while still maintaining a strong New Zealand flavour.
Presented by Garry "Gaz" Thomas , the show is music focused, but also includes a local gig guide, film and stage reviews, interviews from within the local entertainment scene and three regular segments Georgie's 1001 , Movies With Nik and The Man From Hari Hari .
Detox Mans!on regularly has specials that are relevant to the time of year or a theme. Local singer/songwriter Candice Greene is an occasional co-host at the Mans!on. This re-enforces one of the programme's aims – to promote and support local artists.
Detox Mans!on was also finalist at the 2010 NZ Radio Awards
