Annette loves country music and has a real desire to help promote Kiwi artists who struggle to get commercial airplay. She features interviews and music from popular international artists as well as Kiwi musicians.
She has met Daniel O’Donnell, Mary Duff, Isla and Al Grant, The Irish Rovers and Charlie Landsborough plus many others through her radio career, which started when she helped a friend produce a show in 1995, as well as serving on the Woodend Beach Country Music Club
The last half hour of this weekly show is the 'Irish Country Showcase'. There are so many great artists coming out of Ireland that they deserve their own special section!
Annette has taken listener's phone calls since it began in September 1997.
