It's May and that means it's time for New Zealand Music Month!
Weekdays at 9:20am, Plains FM Mornings features Homegrown Hits. From Dave Dobbyn to Anika Moa, Split Enz to Supergroove, showcasing some of the best Kiwi music from the past 40 years.
Starting May 4, Flying Kiwis is a music hour devoted solely to New Zealand music featuring anything from Kiwi gold hits to today's new music and even local artists. We'll be also playing some of the lesser known music of our mainstream artists. So tune in Monday @ 12:30pm (half hour), Tuesday @ 3pm, Wednesday @ 5pm, Thursday and Friday @11am, and Saturday @7pm.
CHARTFEST is coming up on May 29 celebrating the local music scene, and Plains FM will be there with The Pod, our digital recording booth. Come and visit us from 4pm at the Christchurch Town Hall
