Plains FM is thrilled that Joanna Cobley’s  The Museum Detective has taken the top award in the Best Ethnic and Access - Spoken category at the 2008 NZ Radio Awards.  Another Plains FM programme Out of the Glow produced by Paul Featherstone was also a finalist, along with students from Greenmeadows School (Radio Kidnappers). The judging panel said of Joanna’s winning entry: “…an innovative and entertaining concept, compulsive listening, well planned, expert talent provided good story telling with gentle probing from the host with a witty presentation style.”
