While most people were at the beach soaking up the sun this summer, we've been helping some new broadcasters put their programmes to air

This could be through music, comedy or any other audio talent. The programme also hopes to project a light-hearted and informative view of Islam, as opposed to the negative view too often seen in mainstream media.

At Plains FM, we like to think we're leading the world of communication. We're On-Air, Online, on Twitter and Facebook, we have email, and we have phones (just to scrape the top of the barrel). But someone who we think is more connected than us is Mornings host Ed Swift. When he's not presenting his show, he's connected in more ways than anyone can imagine! We're all just wondering if he's going to add another gadget to the list and get the new iPad!

Ed with his iPhone, mobile, Skype, Twitter, Facebook, Camera, Landline... I've lost track already!!
