Collaborative Voices plays every month on the 1st Thursday at 11am and profiles community organisations and their people in a way that actively demonstrates how organisations are working. It comes to us from Wellington Access Radio.
In recent years agencies engaged in providing community services have been gaining a greater profile. The scale and contribution of the not-for-profit sector to our community and country is significant.
Keeping the community sector up-to-date about topical issues is the key purpose of Collaborative Voices. It’s a regular, informal conversation on air with someone or about something as a way of keeping people informed.
The programme is an initiative of the New Zealand Council of Social Services (NZCOSS) and Social Development Partners .
Presenters are Ros Rice (NZCOSS), and David Barrow (Social Development Partners). Ros has experience in community radio broadcasting and though David is newer to this media, he is a seasoned communications professional and loves the radio experience. Both are based in Wellington.
