Sprinkled with a generous mixture of live and recorded music from roots and reggae to hip hop, RnB and traditional Pasifika. Edmund Whiteside is Christchurch-born, Fijian, Samoan and Palagi. He has an inquiring mind, creativity in his blood and a heart for people's health and wellbeing. Edmund's rich life experiences give him plenty to draw on as Nesia Now's main host. Edmund has a BA in Sociology and Political Science, has worked 10 years in mental health, intellectual disability support and social work in prisons. Edmund is an artist, sculptor, carver, poet and musician. Phew! Similarly, Ana Mulipola has a passion for all things creative, communications, her Samoan heritage and mental health - Ana is employed as a Like Minds Like Mine Coordinator for Pasifika in Canterbury.
