Notes From the Underground

Notes From the Underground Quentin Findlay has a long involvement with left wing politics. He was a member of the Labour party in the 1980s, a parliamentary candidate for the Alliance in the 1990s. He has also been involved with union and community involvement. He has over a decade worth of experience in advocacy and representation. He is currently employed as an organiser for a Christchurch based union, NUPE and is completing a PhD in Social Science (History and Politics) from Lincoln University. Quentin hosts Notes from the Underground, a radio show which is dedicated to providing opinion and discussion from a left wing/democratic socialist perspective. The purpose of the show is to be able to pose and discuss alternative programmes against that of the prevailing neo-liberal (right wing) viewpoint which is emphasised in the mainstream media and in Parliament.
